Satisfactory Compliance - This item shall be deemad <br /> to have been satisfied when: <br /> (1) All perishable food or drink is kept at or below <br /> 50 deg. F. except when being prepared or served. <br /> (2) All water ice used shall be node from water complying <br /> with the safety standards of Item 6 of this ordinance , and all <br /> ice shall be stored and handled in such manner as to prevent <br /> contaminat ion. <br /> (3) All waste water from refrigeration equipment dis- <br /> charges into an open sink or drain, pr ope rly trapped and <br /> sewer connected; provided that where sewer connections are <br /> not available clean adequate water-tight drip pens may be used. <br /> Item 14. lithole sores ne ss of Food and Drink - <br /> All food and drink shall be wholesome and free from <br /> spoilage. All milk, milk products, ice cream, and other <br /> frozen desserts served shall be of a grade approved by the <br /> Health Officer. Milk shall be served in the original con- <br /> tainers in which it was received from the distributor, provided <br /> that this requirement shall not apply to cream, which may be <br /> served from the original bottle or from a dispenser approved <br /> for such service. All oysters , clams and mussels shall be <br /> from approved sources. Food once served and returned shall <br /> not under any condition be resold or served again. <br /> Satisfactory Compliance - This item shall be deemed <br /> to have been satisfied when: <br /> (1) All food and drink are whole sore and free from <br /> spoilage. <br /> (2) All milk, milk products, ice cream, frozen custard, <br /> sherbet, ices, and similar frozen products served are of a <br /> grade a .proved by the Health Officer. <br /> (3) All milk is served in the original container in <br /> which it was received from the distributor. An exception may <br /> be made in the case of cream served with coffee, cereals, etc. , <br /> as tliP distributor cannot deliver cream in the unit size con- <br /> tainers which would be required. For such service , therefore, <br /> the Health Officer may permit transferring from the original <br /> bottle or from a pump urn, or other dispenser or container <br /> which complies with Item 9 regarding construction and repair , <br /> and no cream contact surface of which, except the delivery <br /> orifice , is, while in use, exposed to manual contact, droplet <br /> infection, dust or flies. <br /> (4) All oysters, clams and mussels are from a source <br /> approved by the State Health Department , provided that if the <br /> source is outside the State the shipper shall be on the approved <br /> list issued by the U.
