The quoted price is $349,403 + $34,590.89 (9.9% Everett sales tax) = $383,993.89. Project summary statement: There is an urgent community need for public restrooms in the downtown area. Through a collaborative effort between the Police Department, Downtown Everett Association, Parks and Facilities staff, and the Economic Development Department, the City has selected a two -stall, owner -supplied, prefabricated ADA-compliant restroom building for public use at the Everett Municipal Building located at 2930 Wetmore Avenue. Public Restroom Company will provide a customized building to be located in the Northeast corner of the parking lot. It is designed to meet the City's permitting requirements for setbacks adjacent to the public right of way. The Public Restroom Company concrete masonry block structure is considered safe, vandalism resistant, and viewed as the most maintenance -friendly option for this location. The installation will be completed using Job Order Contracting. The restroom is available for purchase from Public Restroom Company through the Sourcewell competitively bid contract #081721-PRM/City of Everett #2022-090. The City has an Interlocal cooperative purchasing agreement with Sourcewell that allows for purchases from its competitively awarded contracts in lieu of soliciting bids on our own. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Award and authorize the purchase of a two -stall, ADA Compliant, restroom building with Public Restroom Company from Sourcewell Cooperative Contract #081721-PRM/COE #2022-090 for approximately $383,993.89, including Washington state sales tax.
