May 10, 2023 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., May 10, 2023, <br />President Stonecipher presiding. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Zarlingo, Rhyne, Tuohy, Fosse, Schwab, Vogeli, <br />and President Stonecipher were present. Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Schwab led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />On behalf of the City Council, Council Member Rhyne acknowledged the original inhabitants of <br />this place, the sduhubš people, and their successors, the Tulalip Tribes. <br /> <br />The minutes of the May 3, 2023, City Council meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Council Executive Angela Ely stated Council received one (1) written comment, and the following <br />community members spoke: <br /> <br />• Louie Cohn – Bicycle Path <br />• William Parent – Consent Item No. 3 <br />• Jim Hagglund – Bicycle Path <br />• Richard Roth – Bicycle Path <br />• Paula Townsell – Communication between the City and Public <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Comments and liaison reports were provided by council members. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> <br />Governmental Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson had no updates. <br /> <br />
