Section 9: FIFE DEPARTl NT: 9 There shall be the following named officers and assist- ants in the Fire Department , to-wit: One (1) Chief of Department ; One (1) First Assistant Chief of Department : One (1) Second Assistant Chief of Depart- ment ; One (1) Superintendent of Fire and Police Signals; One (1) Assistant Superintendent of Fire and Police Signals ; One (1) Fire Marshal and Secretary; Light (8) Captains; One (1) Master Mechanic ; One (1) Assistant ichanic ; Twenty-one (21) Senior Pipemen and Six ( 6) junior Pipemen. It shall be the duty of such assistants in said depart- ment to perform the duties indicated by the name of their employ- ment and such other duties as the Chief of the Fire Department or Commissioner of Safety may authorize and direct. Section 10: FIRE HYDRANT DEPARTI: -ANT: There shall be the following named employee in the Fire Hydrant Department , to-wit: One (1) Hydrant man (part time. ) It shall be the duty of such employee to perform the duties indicated by the name of his employment, end such other duties as the Chief of the Fire Department or Commissioner of Safety may authorize and direct. Section 11: FIRE MID POLICE SIGNAL DEPARTMENT: There shall be the following named employee in the Fire and Police Signal Department, to-wit : One (1) Communication Engineer (part time) . It shall be the duty of such employee to perform the duties indicated by the name of his employment, and such other duties as the Chief of the Fire Department or Commissioner of Safety may authorize and direct. Section 12 : LICENSE DEPARTMENT: There shall be the following named officer in the License Department, to-wit : One (1) License Inspector. It shall be the duty of such officer to perform the duties indicated by the name of his employment, and such other duties as the Commissioner of Safety may authorize and direct.
