r Section 13: POLICE COURT DEPARTMENT: There shall be in the Police Court Department the following named officer: One (1) Clerk of the Court, who shall perform the duties pertaining to his office. Section 14: CIVIL SEF<VICE DEPART.EET: There shall be in the Civil Service Department the following named officer: One (1) Secretary, (part time ) , who shall perform the duties pertaining to his office. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS. Section 15: CITY ENGINEER: There shall be the following named deputies, assist- ants and employees in the office of the City Engineer, to-wit : One (1) City Engineer (part time) ; One (1) Principal Assistant Engineer; One (I) Assistant City Engineer; One (1) Transitman; Draftsmen (one or more ) ; One (1) Stenographer; One (1) "rstract Clerk; Head Chairmen (100) days; Rear Chain- men (100 days) ; Inspectors (100 days) . Said officers, assistants and employees shall perform the duties indicated by the name of their respective employment, and such other duties as the City Engineer shall, from time to time , authorize and direct. e City Engineer shall have the right to employ the following named additional temporary employees, with the consent of the Commissioner of Public .+orks, and whenever there is work in his office for such employees: Transitmen; levelmen; draftsmen and computers; rodmen; chainmen; avemen and inspectors. Such lest named assistants and erspreques resrsuch employrdent,, and only arewhen not the permanent employees office requires in such office . Section 16 : INSPECTION DEPARTMENT: There shall be the following named officers and employees in the Inspection Department: One Building Inspector and One (1) Electrical Inspector. It shall be the duty of such officers to perform the duties relating to such office as defined by the Ordinances of such City , and such other duties as the Commissioner of Public -Jor'ks shall direct.
