Please review and respond to the comments below. <br /> 1. It is assumed that the proposed structure is designed under the IRC, however <br /> the plans do not indicate which code the proposed structure is adhering. <br /> Please indicate the design code and notes and update drawings as required. <br /> IRC R106.1.1. <br /> 2. Please indicate on the plans where the proposed braced wall panels are to be <br /> located on the plans. Alternatively, if wood shearwalls are proposed in lieu of <br /> braced wall panel construction,this would be considered engineered design <br /> and require stamped calculations. Please indicate the lateral bracing, <br /> construction details,and calculations (where required)addressing their <br /> construction as it appears to be missing from the plans and permit calculations. <br /> IRC R602.10, R301.1.3. <br /> 3. Please provide guardrail details around the proposed deck and stairway as <br /> this appears to be missing from the plans. Please note that the guardrails and <br /> their connection to the proposed structure are required to resist 200 lbs per IRC <br /> R301.5. Please revise drawings as required. IRC R312.1. <br /> 4. The proposed exterior stairway appears to be missing the required lighting at <br /> the top of the stairway. Please identify on the plans and revise as required. Proposed exterior doors from the garage and storage areas appear to be <br /> 9 3200 Cedar Street missing the required exterior landings per IRC R311.3.
