. ( d) Every Delicatessen Store license shall authorize the person, firm or corporE ti on therein named to conduct and operate a delicatessen store for the sale of cured meats in and upon the premises described in said license , and to sell said meats until the 31st day of December next following the issuance of such license , unless sooner revoked for cause , and said license may, at the discretion of the City Council , be transferred from one place to another or from one person, firm or corporation to another person, firm or. corporation. (e) The fee for any meat shop license shall be and the sane is hereby fixed at the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ( a25.00) per annum; provided that if one person, firm or corporation is operating in one place of business a wholesale and retail shop and/or a shop for the manufacture of meat products, or any two of them, only one license fee shall be paid; and provided further that the fee for any such license issued on or after August 1st of any year shall be Twelve and 50/100 Dollars ( 12.50) . (f) The fee for any Delicatessen Store license shall be, and the same is hereby fixed at the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00 ) per annuli;provided that the fee for any such license issued on or after August 1st of any year shall be Tive Dollars ( 5.00) . (g) Any person des ring to act as a meat salesman, or employed in the handling of meat in any regular way of trade, shall present himself to the Health Officer of the City of Everett for ziedicalexamination, which includes the Wasserman test. If such Health Officer shall find that such person has no contagious or communicable diseases he shell issue such persof a health certificate . Said applicant shall present the said health certificate to the City Clerk of the City of Everett and apply for a license as Meat Salesman and shall pay to the City Treasurer of the City of Everett the sum of Two and 50/100 Dollars (52.50) . Said license for heat Salesman shall expire on the 1st day of December of each year. The Health Officer shall have the power to call for a health examination of any meat employee, at any time he deems it necessary. (h) Any such license may be revoked by the Meat Inspector for unclean habits of the holder, negligence in the handling of meats, fraud, dishonesty in the sale of neat, acquisition of a dangerous or loathsome disease, or if the meat salesman or employee is afflicted with a contagious or infectious disease, or any violation of the ordinances of the City of Everett , the laws of the State of Washington, or Federal laws relating to the preparation, handling or sale of meat or meat products. -2-
