<br /> <br /> <br />Exhibit A <br />Amendment No.3 – Additional Scope of Work <br /> <br />Phase II: Design Development, Construction Documents, Permitting, Bidding & <br />CCA <br /> <br />Mackenzie’s integrated team of design professionals will provide Architectural, Interior <br />Design, and Structural Engineering services for the Everett Municipal Building – Public <br />Works Improvement Project. In addition, Mackenzie will retain BCE Engineers <br />(Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineers), Roen & Associates (Cost Estimating), <br />and the Greenbusch Group, Inc. (Acoustical Design) as consultants to complete the team. <br />Our team has been chosen specifically for their technical knowledge and design expertise <br />related to this project type, and a demonstrated ability to successfully deliver projects <br />with a high level of Client service. <br /> <br />The following items will be added to the work: <br /> <br />BASIS OF DESIGN <br /> <br />The following describes in detail the elements that define the basis of services. <br /> <br />Team Structure | Engagement <br /> <br />1. It is understood that the primary point of contacts with Client will be the Parks & <br />Facilities Planning & Capital Projects Manager Ruben Sanchez as the project lead, and <br />the Parks & Facilities Assistant Director Jeff Harris will be copied on all correspondence. <br /> <br />2. Client’s Core Team will comprise Ruben Sanchez, Jeff Harris, and Ryan Sass. <br /> <br />3. In addition to Client’s Core Team, engagement will occur with each of Client’s <br />program divisions, City Council, and Mayor Cassie Franklin at key meeting milestones <br />throughout the process. <br /> <br />4. During the course of the project, Mackenzie (Kim Doyle) will schedule weekly 30- <br />minute conference call check-ins with City Project Manager and Representative(s). <br /> <br />Phase II: Design Development through Construction Contract Administration <br /> <br />1.
