Use Source Separation Method or Co-mingling Method suitable to sorting and <br /> processing method of selected recycling center. Dispose non-recyclable trash separately <br /> into landfill. <br /> 1. Source Separation Method: Recyclable materials separated from trash and sorted <br /> into bins or containers prior to transportation to recycling center. <br /> 2. Co-Mingling Method: Recyclable materials separated from trash and placed in <br /> unsorted bins or container for sorting at recycling center. <br /> B. Design Waste Management Plan to divert following waste categories from the landfills. <br /> 1. Acoustical ceiling tiles <br /> 2. Asphalt <br /> 3. Bricks (where not reusable) <br /> 4. Cardboard (from supplies and packaging) <br /> 5. Carpet and carpet pad <br /> 6. Concrete <br /> 7. Concrete unit masonry <br /> 8. Equipment oil. <br /> 9. Excavated soils <br /> 10. Fluorescent tubes and ballasts (if not recycled designate as hazardous waste) <br /> 11. Gypsum board (clean, unpainted <br /> 12. Land clearing and organic plant debris <br /> 13. Metals (from banding, stud trim, ductwork, piping, rebar, roofing, other trim, steel, <br /> iron, galvanized sheet steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, zinc, lead, brass, <br /> and bronze) <br /> 14. Native stone and granular fill. <br /> 15. Packing materials including paper, cardboard, foam plastic, and sheeting. <br /> 16. Paint <br /> 17.
