Job-shack wastes, including office paper, blueprints, pop cans and bottles, <br /> recyclable plastics, and office cardboard. <br /> 1.7 REVENUES <br /> A. Revenues and other savings obtained from recycled, reused, or salvaged materials <br /> accrue to Contractor, except as otherwise indicated by Contract Documents or Owner- <br /> Contractor Agreement. <br /> 1.8 COMMUNICATION <br /> A. Contractors Project Engineer(or other designated person): <br /> 1. Implement Waste Management Plan. <br /> 2. Distribute copies to subcontractors and others performing work on site. <br /> 3. Oversee, instruct, and document results. <br /> B. Conduct and oversee safety meetings, signage, and subcontractor agreements to <br /> communicate goals of Waste Management Plan, including instruction about appropriate <br /> separation, handling separation, handling, and recycling, salvage, reuse and return <br /> methods to be used by all parties at the appropriate stages of the Project. <br /> 1.9 MATERIALS CONSERVATION <br /> A. Protect products from damage during storage, installation, and for duration of <br /> construction following installation. <br /> B. Include waste reduction provision in supply agreements specifying preference for <br /> reduced, returnable, or recyclable packaging. <br /> C. Prepare detailed take-offs to identify location and use in construction to reduce risk of <br /> unplanned and potentially wasteful use of materials. <br /> 1.10 MATERIALS HANDLING <br /> A. Designate specific locations to facilitate separation of materials for recycling, salvage, <br /> reuse and return. <br /> B. Maintain recycling and waste bin areas in clean condition and clearly marked to reduce <br /> risk of co-mingling materials. <br /> 1. Take means to prevent bins from off-site contamination during non-working hours. <br /> 2.
