City of Everett 01 74 23 - 1 <br /> Inductive Charging Infrastructure for Everett Transit <br /> SECTION 01 74 23 - FINAL CLEANING <br /> PART 1 -GENERAL <br /> 1.1 SUMMARY <br /> A. This section includes administrative and procedural requirements for final cleaning of the <br /> Work prior to Substantial Completion, including but not limited to: <br /> 1. Cleaning procedures <br /> 2. Inspection <br /> B. Do not use cleaning materials that may damage finished surfaces. <br /> C. Do not use cleaning materials hazardous to health or property. <br /> D. Use only cleaning materials and methods recommended by manufacturer of item or <br /> material to be cleaned. <br /> PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> 2.1 MATERIALS <br /> A. Cleaning Agents: <br /> 1. Compatible with surface being cleaned <br /> 2. New and Uncontaminated <br /> 3. For Manufactured Surfaces, Use material recommend by manufacturer. <br /> PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> 3.1 FINAL CLEANING <br /> A. Cleaning: Employ experienced workers or professional cleaners for final cleaning. Clean <br /> each surface or unit to the condition expected in a typical commercial building/site <br /> cleaning and maintenance program. Comply with manufacturer's instructions. Final <br /> cleaning includes but is not limited to the following procedures: <br /> 1. Remove dust and dirt in corners. <br /> 2. Remove all evidence of defacement from all surfaces including graffiti. <br /> 3. Remove grease, mastic, adhesives, glazing compounds, dust, dirt, stains, <br /> fingerprints, non-permanent labels, and other foreign materials from interior and <br /> exterior surfaces exposed to view. <br /> a. Clean hard-surface finishes to dirt-free condition, free of dust, stains, films <br /> and similar noticeable distracting substances. <br /> b. Except as otherwise indicated, avoid disturbance of natural weathering of <br /> exterior surfaces. <br /> c.
