On-site power-limited testing supervisor must have BICSI Registered <br /> Communications Distribution Designer certification and documented <br /> training and experience with testing power-limited equipment in accordance <br /> with NETA testing standards. <br /> 16. Structural Testing and Inspecting Agency: Entity possessing active qualifications <br /> specified in Section 014000 "Quality Requirements" with documented training <br /> and experience with testing structural concrete, seismic controls, and wind-load <br /> controls. <br /> 17. Outdoor Pole Testing and Inspecting Agency: Entity possessing active <br /> qualifications specified in Section 014000 "Quality Requirements" with <br /> documented training and experience in accordance with ASTM C1093 for <br /> foundation testing and inspections. <br /> 18. Luminaire Photometric Testing Laboratory: Entity possessing active qualifications <br /> specified in Section 014000 "Quality Requirements" accredited under the NVLAP <br /> for Energy Efficient Lighting Products, and complying with applicable IES testing <br /> standards. <br /> 19. Lighting Testing and Inspecting Agency: Entity possessing active qualifications <br /> specified in Section 014000 "Quality Requirements" with documented training <br /> and experience with testing and inspecting lighting installations in accordance <br /> with IES LM-5. <br /> B. Certifications: <br /> 1. Seismic-Load Performance Certificates: Provide special certification for <br /> designated seismic systems as indicated in Paragraph 13.2.2 "Special <br /> Certification Requirements for Designated Seismic Systems" of for all designated <br /> seismic-load systems identified on Drawings or in the Specifications. <br /> a. Include the following information: <br /> 1) Basis for Certification: Indicate whether withstand certification is <br /> based on actual test of assembled components or on calculation. <br /> 2) Dimensioned Outline Drawings of Equipment Unit: Identify center of <br /> gravity and locate and describe mounting and anchorage provisions. <br /> 3) Detailed description of equipment anchorage devices on which the <br /> certification is based and their installation requirements. <br /> 4) Detailed description of conduit support devices and interconnections <br /> on which the certification is based and their installation requirements. <br /> 5) Provide equipment manufacturer's written certification for each <br /> designated active electrical seismic device and system, stating that it <br /> will remain operable following the design earthquake. <br /> 6) Submit evidence demonstrating compliance with these requirements <br /> for approval to authorities having jurisdiction after review and <br /> acceptance by qualified structural professional engineer. <br /> b.
