Detectable warning surfaces in conformance with WSDOT Standard Specifications <br /> Section 8-14.3(5). <br /> 3.3 FIELD QUALITY CONTROL <br /> A. Pavement opening to traffic shall be in accordance with WSDOT Standard Specifications <br /> Section 5-05.3(17) <br /> B. Do not open newly constructed pavements to traffic until the Owner has given approval. <br /> C. Paving Tolerances: <br /> 1. Comply with dimensions as shown on the plans with tolerances as follows: <br /> a. Elevation: 1/4 inch <br /> b. Thickness: Plus 3/8 inch, minus 1/4 inch. <br /> c. Surface: Gap below 10-foot- long, unleveled straightedge not to exceed 1/4 <br /> inch. <br /> d. Joint Spacing: 3 inches. <br /> e. Contraction Joint Depth: Plus 1/4 inch, no minus. <br /> f.
