The following AIA documents may be utilized to establish the project BIM protocols; <br /> G201 Project Digital Data Protocol Form <br /> G202 Project Building Information Modeling Protocol Form <br /> E203 Building Information Modeling and Digital Data Exhibit <br /> Architect and Consultants BIM software for project is Autodesk 2020 Revit or latest <br /> release. <br /> g. The Architect and its Consultants shall be deemed the authors of the transferred <br /> media and will retain all common law, statutory and other reserved rights, in addition <br /> to copyright. Each party shall have the right to alter, modify or delete materials <br /> without consequence to the other party as long as those changes are not attributed <br /> to the other party. <br /> 3. The Contractor and its Subcontractors shall collaborate with the Architect and the <br /> Architect's BIM protocols to coordinate the details of the project, to prepare Shop <br /> Drawings, and to submit a final "as-built" BIM model at closeout. <br /> 4. Contractor shall coordinate the Work and require the Subcontractors to prepare and <br /> submit BIM coordinated Shop Drawings in CAD (Computer Aided Drafting)format. Use <br /> of the BIM model in coordinating and preparing Shop Drawings does not relieve the <br /> Contractor or their Subcontractors of the responsibility to verify dimensions, <br /> thicknesses, affected materials/systems, existing conditions, as-constructed field <br /> conditions or to strictly comply with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The <br /> BIM coordinated Shop Drawings shall clearly show: the building components and how <br /> the Work is to be installed in relation to the work of the other Subcontractors; systems <br /> routings, sizes and components; space for disassembly and/or removal of major <br /> equipment requiring maintenance; access to products and equipment that require <br /> periodic maintenance including, but not limited to, cable trays, pull boxes, valves, <br /> dampers, switches, motors, filters, control components; and that maintenance access <br /> is adequate and in accordance with the requirements of Authorities Having Jurisdiction <br /> and the Contract Documents. <br /> a. Contractor working through the Contractor's mechanical Subcontractor shall: <br /> coordinate the mechanical systems and equipment.
