manager for the Project. <br /> • Identify any of your proposed team members who were involved in the Project and <br /> their role in the Project <br /> 5.9 SBE/DBE/Local Business: <br /> The purpose of subsection 5.9 is to evaluate past performance in the utilization of <br /> disadvantaged business enterprises and small business entities on previous Projects and to <br /> evaluate the project-specific outreach and inclusion plan for small business entities and <br /> disadvantaged business enterprises as sub-consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for this <br /> Project, to the extent permitted by law. <br /> The Owner encourages the participation of local businesses, small business enterprises, and <br /> socially and economically disadvantaged business enterprises as sub-consultants, <br /> subcontractors, and suppliers for this Project. <br /> Provide the following for your last three (3) Projects that had utilization or participation goals: <br /> • A summary of the required or requested MBE, WBE, SBE, or other disadvantaged <br /> business and local business utilization goals and the actual participation levels you <br /> achieved for each Project. <br /> • A summary of your efforts to recruit and involve MBE, WBE, SBE, or other socially or <br /> economically disadvantaged business enterprises and local businesses for each <br /> Project. <br /> • Examples of past successes related to the inclusion of small or disadvantaged <br /> business enterprises participating in past Projects. <br /> • Based on lessons learned in past Projects, provide a summary of how you have aligned <br /> Project work to offer increased opportunities for small businesses and micro <br /> businesses, including facilitating mentor relationships between the prime and relevant <br /> subcontractors or between subcontractors and relevant small and micro businesses. <br /> For the Everett Municipal Building — Public Works Tenant Improvements Project, provide a <br /> summary of your project-specific outreach and inclusion plan devised to: <br /> • Increase opportunities and encourage MBE, WBE, SBE, or other disadvantaged <br /> business enterprises and local businesses to participate in this Project. <br /> • Encourage, recruit, mentor, and involve MBE, WBE, SBE, or other socially or <br /> economically disadvantaged business enterprises and local businesses in this Project. <br /> • Work with the City of Everett to track, and report monthly, the status of MBE, WBE, <br /> SBE, or other disadvantaged business enterprises and local business utilization for <br /> this Project. <br /> 5.10 Firm Values and Culture: <br /> The Owner has a distinct set of values and culture.
