Cleaning & Maintenance Model: FSH-2, FSH-2A-99 <br /> 5.04.1 Semi-Amival i Suppression i <br /> Service and inspection of the fire suppression system must be performed by a qualified Ansul®Distributor/Dealer. As a <br /> minimum,field inspection of the system must be conducted semi-annually(every 6 months) and shall consist of the following: <br /> • Confirm that the fire hazard potential has not changed. <br /> • Inspect suppressant storage tank for chemical level and charge pressure. <br /> • Inspect and test the Automan release mechanism. <br /> • Check all nozzles to ensure they are free of grease build-up. Confirm that all nozzle blow-off caps are in place and in <br /> good condition; replace as needed. See Section 2.05.2, Fire Extinguisher Nozzle Locations. <br /> • Inspect and test the remote manual activation station for function and wear. <br /> • Install test detector link; cut to test automatic actuation. <br /> • Inspect and clean detector links. Confirm that detector links are of the correct temperature rating. See Section <br /> 2.05.1, Fire Suppression Detector Links&Location. <br /> • Inspect link conduit and wire cable for wear at pulleys and detectors; replace if necessary. <br /> • Record maintenance date and service performed in a permanent file, and sign-off on tag attached to system in a <br /> conspicuous location. <br /> 5.04.2i Suppression i i <br /> Same as Semi-Annual Inspection&Maintenance except: <br /> • All detector links must be replaced with new. See Section 2.05.1, Fire Suppression Detector Link Specification& <br /> Location. <br /> 5.04.3Suppression i <br /> Same as Annual Inspection&Maintenance except: <br /> • Replace wet-chemical fire suppressant. <br /> • Hydrostatic test and certify suppressant tank and compressed gas charging cartridge. As alternative components <br /> can be replaced with new. <br /> • Flow test the regulator. <br /> 43 <br />
