The <br /> numbering sequence matches your own and revisions have been indicated with clouds on the <br /> attached documents. <br /> NON-STRUCTURAL <br /> Energy <br /> 1. The exterior doors on the West and South Elevations of the penthouse do not <br /> appear to be included in the schedules on Sheet A3.5. The doors should be listed <br /> with the required minimum U factor. The doors should be identified on the <br /> elevations on Sheets A3.0 and A3.1... Response: The exterior doors are indicated as <br /> RO1 and R02. See floor plan sheet A2.6 and door schedule Sheet A3.5. Door U factor <br /> has been added to door schedule. Doors are shown in south and west elevations. Door <br /> tags for all doors are shown in plan view. See sheets A 2.6,A3.0 and A3.1. <br /> 2. The building envelope has been designed with R-38 insulation at the roof. The <br /> insulation shall be specified in the drawings... Response: See floor/ceiling type FW-5 <br /> sheet A 9.1. This drawing has been modified to show a more accurate thickness for the <br /> rigid insulation as opposed to the averaged minimum. <br /> Miscellaneous <br /> 3. The second Floor Sab Plan on sheet A-23a includes an exterior Terrace with <br /> primary and secondary drainage... Question a). Details for the drainage system <br /> shall be included in the construction drawings....Response: Plumbing design and <br /> specification of appropriate drains is a deferred submittal to be provided by the plumbing <br /> designer. Notes have been added to wall sections indicating drainage system and <br /> waterproofing. Question b).Slopes for the topping slab shall be specified... Response: <br /> Slopes are shown on Slab Plan sheets A2.0a,2.1a,2.2a,2.3a and wall sections shown in <br /> the A8 series of sheets. <br /> 4. The roof plan on Sheet A-2.6 appears intended to slope towards interior drains. <br /> The system shall include primary and secondary drains. Details for the drainage <br /> system shall be included in the construction drawings.
