5.)2511 Wetmore Avenue
This 22-stall parking lot will absorb additional parkers and will be completely full by August.
Pricing will increase from$40 per month to$60 per month. Non-Skotdal customers will be
displaced as we are unable to accommodate their needs elsewhere.
6.)2611 Wetmore Avenue
We attempted to relocate monthly parkers to this location and were informed that it is full.
7.)YMCA Surface Parking Lot
We have been contacted by monthly parkers who have been required to relocate by the end of
July from the YMCA surface parking lot. This location has approximately 72 surface parking
spaces that will no longer be available for monthly parking.
8.)Pioneer Place
This is a vacant 52,500 square foot office building currently in lease-up. As we sign leases with
new office tenants, it will create additional demand for monthly and hourly parking in
Downtown Everett that will have spillover impacts.
9.)Library Place Apartments
We currently provide monthly parking to non-Skotdal customers at this location during weekday
business hours. As the year progresses, leasing activity at Pioneer Place could require us to
begin displacing these parking customers without any viable relocation options nearby.
The demand for parking has increased to levels we have not seen in 20+years. Unfortunately,
the parking infrastructure and management have not kept pace with the changes. We are very
concerned that Downtown Everett is facing a parking crunch that will adversely affect local
businesses,non-profits,and entertainment venues. Hopefully, your report will fully capture the
reduction in supply and increase in demand in the months ahead.
Sincerely
Ita
Cra: dal
President
CC: Cassie Franklin, Mayor
Nick Harper, Deputy Mayor
Dan Eernissee, Economic Development Director
Ryan Sass, Public Works Director
Tim Miller,City Traffic Engineer
KIP
PAGE 2 O■
