The bottom edge of the mirrors Type A units should be dimensioned on the plans (40" <br /> max AFF). ANSI Section 1003.11.2.3 <br /> 4. The top of the toilet seats in the Type A units should be shown to be between 15-19". <br /> ANSI Section 1003.11.2.4.5 <br /> 5. Standard accessible details and clearances, grab bar locations (reinforcement) and clear <br /> floor spaces should be provided and dimensioned in plan and elevation for the Type B <br /> toilet rooms to include the path of compliance (Option A or Option B). ANSI Section <br /> 1004.11 <br /> 6. The flushing mechanisms for the toilets in the Type A units should be shown to be located <br /> on the wide side of the room (center controls may not comply). ANSI Section <br /> 1003.11.2.4.6 <br /> 7. The bath tubs in the Type A units should be shown with two grab bars on the back wall. <br /> ANSI Sections 607.4.2.1 & 1003.11.2.5.1 <br /> 8. The bath tubs in the Type A units should be shown with hand showers complying with <br /> ANSI Section 607.6. ANSI Section 1003.11.2.5.1 <br /> 9. The cabinetry under the sink and clear work space should be (per ANSI Sections <br /> 1003.12.3.1 & 1003.12.4.1): <br /> a. Shown to be able to be removed without removal of the sink, <br /> b. The floor finish should extend under the cabinetry, and <br /> c. The walls behind the cabinetry should be finished. <br /> 10. Exposed pipes under the sinks and lavatories in the Type A units should be shown to be <br /> prevented from contact. ANSI Sections 1003.12.4.4 & 1003.11.2 <br /> 11. Details, clearances and elevations should be provided for the accessible toilet room on the <br /> 1st floor. Section 1109.2 <br /> a. The walls and partitions should be shown in compliance with Section 1210.2.2 <br /> 12. Signage should be shown on the plans for the Van and Accessible parking spaces.
