Please <br /> see our answers to your comments in blue. <br /> Attached are two copies of the Structural Calculations, one copy of the Section R406 —Additional <br /> Energy Efficiency Requirements, and two copies of Revised Plans. <br /> General <br /> 1. The construction drawings do not appear to be sufficiently complete to clearly show the <br /> proposed modifications to the building. Comments have been provided to assist in revising the <br /> drawings. Additional comments may be issued pending review of the revised drawings. See <br /> Section R106.1.1. <br /> Please see our responses below. <br /> 2. Continuing with the previous comment, the construction drawings generally consist of <br /> architectural drawings with limited structural framing incorporated in the drawings. The <br /> proposed structural modifications, particularly at the roof level, are not clear. Framing plans <br /> showing existing and new framing in the area of work should be provided and plans should be <br /> sufficient to substantiate the revised load path. See additional comments below. See Sections <br /> R106.1.1 and R301.1. <br /> Please see our responses below. <br /> Architectural <br /> 1. Project includes adding condition space at the second story. A schedule of energy credits should <br /> be included in the construction drawings per WSEC Section R406. Performance requirements for <br /> the selected credits should be specified. <br /> The added conditioned space is approximately 50 square feet in size.
