• <br /> Responsible Staff: The contractor will be responsible for the installation,inspection,and <br /> maintenance of the silt fence. <br /> 2.9 ELEMENT 9: CONTROL POLLUTANTS <br /> Any stormwater that does not infiltrate will be assumed to be contaminated.It will be <br /> pumped and stored in temporary storage tanks for either off-site disposal or approved and <br /> permitted treatment and discharge to sewer system if allowed.Any materials stored on <br /> site with the potential to release pollutants will be stored in accordance with BMP C153: <br /> Material Delivery, Storage and Containment.Temporary secondary containment facilities <br /> shall provide for a spill containment volume able to contain 10%of the total enclosed <br /> container volume of all containers,or 110%of the capacity of the largest container within <br /> its boundary,whichever is greater.All pollution generating materials will be stored off of <br /> the ground,under cover,and protected from the elements. <br /> List and Describe BMPs: <br /> BMP C153:Material Delivery, Storage and Containment <br /> BMP C250: Construction Stormwater Chemical Treatment <br /> Installation Schedules: BMPs will be implemented as needed,based on conditions during <br /> construction. <br /> Inspection and Maintenance Plan: If installed,the stormwater treatment system will be <br /> inspected daily to verify compliance with BMP C250: Construction Stormwater <br /> Chemical Treatment.The materials storage will be inspected daily to ensure that meets <br /> that standards of BMP C153: Material Delivery, Storage and Containment.Monitoring <br /> for dust will take place during all work hours in accordance with BMP C140 Dust <br /> control.Dust control will take place as needed throughout the project.Water used for <br /> dust control will not be allowed to create run off. <br /> Responsible Staff: If installed,the stormwater treatment system will be inspected daily by <br /> the contractor.The contractor or subcontractor will be responsible for its proper storage <br /> and containment. <br /> 2.10 ELEMENT 10: CONTROL DEWATERING <br /> The water table is at least 20 feet below ground surface(bgs)throughout the site and the <br /> deepest portion of the excavation will only be 6 feet bgs, so no dewatering is anticipated <br /> to take place. <br /> 2.11 ELEMENT 11: MAINTAIN BMPS <br /> All temporary and permanent Erosion and Sediment Control(ESC)BMPs shall be <br /> maintained and repaired as needed to ensure continued performance of their intended <br /> function. <br /> EVERETT STEEL SWPPP <br /> AUGUST 2019 PgG <br />
