I
Bikrampal Pannu
Plan Check Number: B2204-008, First Building Review
May 6, 2022
Structural
1. A general fastener schedule should be provided per IRC Table R602.3(1). Providing a reference
to this table in the drawings does not satisfy this requirement. In addition, the make and model
of proprietary hardware should be specified where used for connections, including but not
limited to connections between floor and foundation elements in Detail WD on Sheet 2. See
Section R106.1.1.
2. See Foundation Plan on Sheet 2. Drawings should specify the footing size and depth of the
interior spread footings supporting the posts. Drawings should specify the required footing
reinforcement. R403.1.3, R106.1.1
3. See Sheet 2. Drawings should specify post sizes. R106.1.1
4. The drawings should include a note specifying the following:
a. The trusses should be designed by a professional engineer licensed in the state of
Washington.
b. The truss construction drawings and calculations should bear the seal and signature of
the engineer performing the design.
c. The truss design should be reviewed for conformance with the approved construction
drawings and the referenced building codes and approved for construction by the
designer-of-record for the approved drawings, prior to fabrication and erection.
This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and
amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made
during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit
requirements. The designers-of-record are responsible for a complete design in accordance with
the laws of the state of Washington.
If you have any questions or require additional clarification, please contact us.
Respectfully,
Rakeeb Khan
Residential Plans Examiner
(425)257-7299
rkhan@everettwa.gov
S:\RKha n\2022\B2204-008_R1.docx
0 3200 Cedar Street © 425.257.8810 O everetteps@everettwa.gov
Everett,WA 98201 425.257.8857 fax everettwa.gov/permits
Z 3 of 3
