June 21, 2023 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., June 21, 2023, <br />by Vice President Tuohy. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Rhyne, Fosse, Zarlingo, Vogeli, and Tuohy were <br />present. Mayor Franklin, Council Member Schwab, and President Stonecipher were excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />On behalf of the City Council, Council Member Vogeli acknowledged the original inhabitants of <br />this place, the sduhubš people, and their successors, the Tulalip Tribes. <br /> <br />The minutes of the June 14, 2023, City Council meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The following member(s) of the public who spoke: <br /> <br />• Stacy Broers – Agenda Item No. 6 <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Comments and liaison reports were provided by council members. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson stated Administration is working on prior <br />requests related to the Bike Master Plan and the Fulton Avenue Speed Enforcement project. <br />Council was reminded to share their budget ideas for the 2024 budget year. She also stated the <br />ARPA quarterly briefing was set for July 19th. A brief discussion ensued on concerns in the Delta <br />Neighborhood. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY
