ORDINANCE NNo. 2750 AN ORDINANCE amending Section 14 of Ordinance No. 2719 of the City of Everett, entitled as follows: An ordinance relating to arfi regulating the installa- tion, maintenance , use and operation of oil burners and oil burning equipment; definin;g terms; providing • for the inspection and approval of same and fees in connection therewith; defining certain misdemeanors in relation thereto; providing penalties for the viola- tion thereof; repealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict therewith, " and declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF :"TJT ETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 14 of Ordinance No. 2719 of the City of Everett be, end the same is hereby' amended to read as follows: Section 14: Oil burners and oil burning equipment shall be operated and maintained in accordance with the follow- ing provisions: (a) No oil shall be placed in any tank for use in any oil burner or oil burning equipment until such tank has been duly inspected and approved by the Fire Chief of the City of Everett, and a permit therefor has been issued by said Fire Chief. (b) No oil company or distributor, or agent of any oil company or distributor, shall place oil in any storage or supply tank for use in any oil burner or oil burning equipment where a permit of approval issued by the Fire Chief cannot be shown. Number of permit of ap roval shall be placed on sale or delivery slips or invoice , and a record kept of same by the oil company or distributor, or agent of oil company or distributor, making delivery of such oil. (c) Oil storage and supply tanks, holding oil for use in oil burners or oil burning equipment , shall contain only that type of oil for the combustion of which that type of oil burner or oil burning equipment is designed by the manu- facturer and is approved by the Fire Chief. (d) No oil company or distributor, or agent of oil company or distributor, thall place any oil in any storage or supply tank, to be used in any oil burner or oil burning equipment , other than that type of oil for the combustion of which that type of oil burner or oil burning equipment is designed by the manufacturer and is approved by the Fire Chief.
