However, the above permit was approved but
never issued. Note that is was paid for, but no one picked up the drawings, which we still have at our office. The
original drawing that was approved was only a single sheet, while the revision is 11 sheets long. In addition, the current
sets submitted for review are missing information in the plan that was provided in the original drawing. Lastly, there
appears to be work occurring at the house without a valid permit per Code Enforcement File No. CE21-0112; it is not
clear if the work being performed is represented in either the originally -approved or revised drawing.
Due to all of these issues, we need to have two complete revised drawing sets submitted for review ton encompass all of
the work that has been proposed and performed to -date. I am provided some preliminary comments below to clarify
how to proceed. We will perform a comprehensive review once updated drawings are received. Note that the permit
application was vested in the past edition of the building code (i.e., 2015 IRC); the revised project is allowed to continue
with this edition.
Comments:
1. The revised drawings were submitted on 11x17 sheets, which do not appear to be the full-size sheets based on
the drawings scales. Full-size drawings consistent with the scales should be submitted.
2. The revised drawings show the modifications in the non -garage areas as existing (i.e., shown as if the work in the
original permitted drawing has already been performed). See Sheet P-4. All proposed work from both the
original drawing and the new drawings should be shown as new; no work should be shown as existing.
3. Continuing with the previous comment, the previously approved drawing and the currently submitted drawing
sets show significant discrepancies in the floor plans. The plans also show discrepancies in the exterior walls
(e.g., different windows, etc.). The front of the house appears to have been built out with a new porch, some
