These points <br /> were somewhat randomly prescribed with some clearly located at regions of very low downward <br /> velocity. One must keep in mind that these are discrete points. Figure 25 shows a comparison of <br /> the downward component (positive towards the floor) of velocity between the CFD solution and <br /> the VelGrid-based measurements plotted from the aircraft nose to the end of the fuselage section. <br /> The VelGrid velocity data is based of highly approximate positions shown in Figure 21 <br /> ("approximately 10 ft intervals along the fuselage" is a typical description). <br /> 34 <br />
