(b) Any person desiring to obtain a meat shop license <br /> shall make application to the Health Officer of the City of <br /> Everett , on a form to be provided by him, setting forth the <br /> name of the applicant , the location by street and number of the <br /> premises to be so occupied , and the maximum number of meat sales- <br /> men to be employed or to operate as such therein. Upon the filing <br /> of such application the same shall be referred to the meat <br /> inspector who thall inspect the premises therein described and <br /> the fixtures and equipment to be used therein. if the said <br /> premises, fixtures and equipment comply with the requirements <br /> of this ordinance, and with all rules and regulations of the City <br /> of Everett relating to the public health and sanitation, said <br /> Meat inspector shall so certify , and , upon payment of the required <br /> license fee, shall thereupon issue such license. In the event the <br /> same do not so comply, the Zleat inspector shall thereupon reject <br /> +3 such application. <br /> 4-3 <br /> (c) Every meat shop license shall authorize the person, <br /> firm or corporation, therein named to conduct and operate a whole- <br /> sale or retail meat shop, or a shop for the manufacture of meat <br /> products, as therein stated, in and upon the premises described <br /> �-- in said license , and to sell inspected meats until the 31st <br /> La to day of December next following the issuance of such license , <br /> n • unless sooner revoked for cause , and shall be non-transferable. <br /> aqH <br /> y (d) The fee for any such meat shop license shall be <br /> and hereby is fixed at the sum of Twenty-five Dollars W25.00) <br /> 4-1 P per annuli:;\ provided, that if one person, firm or corporation is <br /> a) a) operating in one place of business a wholesale and retail shop <br /> 4-+ U and/or a shop for the manufacture of meat products, or any two <br /> of them, only one license fee shall be paid. <br /> (e) Any person desiring to act as a meat salesman, or <br /> employed in the handling of meat in any regular way of trade , <br /> 4 shall apply for a meat salesman's license and pay therefor the <br /> sum of Iwo and 50/100 Dollars (42. 50) per annum. After receiving <br /> rat u, this license he shall present himself to the health officer for <br /> `, F-'•� medical examination, which includes the Wasserman test. If said <br /> rt <br /> Health Officer -shall find such person has no contagious or <br /> 0 o communicable diseases said health officer shall issue such person <br /> p'`ci a Health Certificate. <br /> The Health Officer shall have the power to call for a <br /> health examination of any meat employee at any time he deems it <br /> necessary. <br /> (f) Any such license may be revoked by the Meat <br /> Inspector for unclean habits of the holder, negligence in the <br /> handling of meats, fraud, dishones ,Tin the sale of meat , ac- <br /> quisition of a dangerous or loathsome disease , or if the meat <br /> salesman or employee is afflicted with a contagious or infectious <br /> disease, or any violation of the ordinances of the City of Everett , <br /> the laws of the State of Washington, or Federal laws relating to <br /> the preparation, handling or sale of meat or meat products. <br /> -w- <br />
