(b) Any person desiring to obtain a meat shop license shall make application to the Health Officer of the City of Everett , on a form to be provided by him, setting forth the name of the applicant , the location by street and number of the premises to be so occupied , and the maximum number of meat sales- men to be employed or to operate as such therein. Upon the filing of such application the same shall be referred to the meat inspector who thall inspect the premises therein described and the fixtures and equipment to be used therein. if the said premises, fixtures and equipment comply with the requirements of this ordinance, and with all rules and regulations of the City of Everett relating to the public health and sanitation, said Meat inspector shall so certify , and , upon payment of the required license fee, shall thereupon issue such license. In the event the same do not so comply, the Zleat inspector shall thereupon reject +3 such application. 4-3 (c) Every meat shop license shall authorize the person, firm or corporation, therein named to conduct and operate a whole- sale or retail meat shop, or a shop for the manufacture of meat products, as therein stated, in and upon the premises described �-- in said license , and to sell inspected meats until the 31st La to day of December next following the issuance of such license , n • unless sooner revoked for cause , and shall be non-transferable. aqH y (d) The fee for any such meat shop license shall be and hereby is fixed at the sum of Twenty-five Dollars W25.00) 4-1 P per annuli:;\ provided, that if one person, firm or corporation is a) a) operating in one place of business a wholesale and retail shop 4-+ U and/or a shop for the manufacture of meat products, or any two of them, only one license fee shall be paid. (e) Any person desiring to act as a meat salesman, or employed in the handling of meat in any regular way of trade , 4 shall apply for a meat salesman's license and pay therefor the sum of Iwo and 50/100 Dollars (42. 50) per annum. If said rt Health Officer -shall find such person has no contagious or 0 o communicable diseases said health officer shall issue such person p'`ci a Health Certificate. The Health Officer shall have the power to call for a health examination of any meat employee at any time he deems it necessary. (f) Any such license may be revoked by the Meat Inspector for unclean habits of the holder, negligence in the handling of meats, fraud, dishones ,Tin the sale of meat , ac- quisition of a dangerous or loathsome disease , or if the meat salesman or employee is afflicted with a contagious or infectious disease, or any violation of the ordinances of the City of Everett , the laws of the State of Washington, or Federal laws relating to the preparation, handling or sale of meat or meat products. -w-
