MMEIMMMIMMT Section 5: YOUNG ANIMALS. Veal too young and immature to produce wholesome meat, Jersey and Guernsey calves weighing less than Sixty-five (65) pounds, and other breeds weighing less than Seventy-five (75) pounds dressed, shall be condemned. Section 6: FEE FOR INSP HCT1NG CARCASSES. 1'or the purpose of defraying the cost and expense of the inspector of carcasses required by this ordinance, the Inspector is authorized to charge and collect the following fees for such service: Hogs 20% per head Goats 10% per head Veal or calves 15% per head Sheep 10% per head Said fee shall be paid to the inspector at the time of inspection and all moneys so paid shall be receipted for by the Inspector and turned over by him to the Jity Treasurer daily. Section 7: FALSE ADVERTISING 2ORHIBITED: It shall be unlawful for any person ' ", make , publish, disseminate, circulate, or place before the public any advertisement relating tv the sale of "meat" , which advertisement contains any assertion, representation or statement which is untrue, deceptive or mis- leading, or which falsely represents the kind , classification, grade or quality of any "meat" , or meat products so advertised for sale. Section 8: HAif3URGER. ADULTERATION - SALE OF. The word "HA]'OURGER or GROUND B1 ;F" as used in this ordinance shall be deemed and construed to mean and include ground lean beef, containing no offal and not more than Twenty- five percent (25° ) fat. (Heart, liver, tongue and tripe shall be deemed offal within the meaning of this section) . . it shall be unlawful to designate as "hamburger" or "ground beef" any meat or meat product sold , offeredfor sale, advertised for sale , or disposed of, unless such meat or meat product complies with the foregoing definition. it shall be unlawful to use any decomposed , contaminated, or unwholesome beef in any meat product offered for sale, sold or advertised as "hamburger. " Section 9: SAUSAGE. All sausage, cooked or uncooked and all meat products, offered for sale in the ,,ity of Everett must be manufactured in a State or .government inspected factory, or in one directly under the supervision of the City of -Everett 'Meat inspectors.
