July 12, 2023 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ā€“ SURPLUS VEHICLE <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 7909 declaring a 2000 Sterling Lā€7501 Box Truck (J0046) surplus and <br />authorizing sale at public auction. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />PROPOSED ACTION ITEMS: <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL 2306-35 <br /> <br />SECOND READING: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE amending sections of the Everett Municipal Code Title 19 for Accessory <br />Dwelling Units <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION ITEMS: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ā€“ PROPERTY ACQUISITION <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Schwab, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 7910 declaring that the acquisition of the property located at 1301 Lombard Avenue, <br />Everett, Washington, commonly known as the Waits Motel, is necessary to eliminate <br />neighborhood blight. <br /> <br />David Hall, City Attorney, provided an overview of the proposed resolution and an overview of <br />the next steps of this property if the proposed resolution is adopted. <br /> <br />The following members of the public spoke on the proposed resolution: Shawn Pressey, Claire <br />Pressey, Daniel Hose, Shelley Whitkop, Emily Simpson, Holly James, Patrick Hall, Dan Douglass, <br />Elizabeth Douglass, Bryan Olsen, Nancy Hecht, and Bob Wohl. <br /> <br />Council members provided additional comments on the proposed resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />
