It is anticipated that the construction area will be 50' wide x 40' <br /> deep (see fig. 1).This construction area has effectively no slope (+/-0.5 ft). <br /> The garage will be built on the north side of the site with vehicle access on the south end of the alley. <br /> Currently there is a wooden fence along the length of the alley and this will be replaced with temporary <br /> metal fence during construction to allow access along the entire width of the property. <br /> BMP Commentary <br /> See Figure 1 for site locations. <br /> 1. Preserve Vegetation/Mark Clearing limits <br /> a. BMP 103—The property currently has wooden fences along the north and south property <br /> lines.These denote two of the boundaries. The temporary metal fence will denote the <br /> western border. <br /> 2. Establish Construction Access <br /> a. BMP 105—Access will be along the alley between Wetmore Ave and Colby Ave. Entrance <br /> and construction area will be amended with compacted crushed rock. <br /> 3. Flow Control Rates <br /> a. Not Applicable—Construction site is flat with<1'grade change. <br /> 4. Install Sediment Controls <br /> a. BMP C235—Perimeter of site will be ringed with wattles. <br /> 5. Stabilize Soils <br /> a. BMP C121—Areas within the construction site without grass or compacted crushed rock <br /> can be covered with straw. <br /> 6. Protect Slopes <br /> a. Not Applicable—Construction site is flat with<1'grade change. <br /> 7. Protect Drain Inlets <br /> a. BMP C220—Catch basin located in alley north of site.Temporary installation of filter fabric <br /> in storm drain.Storm drain located in front of adjoining lot's garage access. <br /> 8.
