It shall be the duty of such officers to perform the duties relating to such office as defined by the ordinances of such City and such other duties as the Commissioner of Public Works shall direct. Section 15: STREET DEPARTMENT. There shall be the following named officers and assistants in the Street Depart- ment , to wit : One (1) Superintendent; One (1) Handiman; One (1) Clerk; One (1) - oreman; Two (2) Gradermen; One (1) Flusherman; One (1) Street Painter; Six (6) Truck Drivers; Two (2) Sewer Inspectors; One (1) Dumpman; Seven (7) Common Laborers. Said officers, assistants and employees shall perform the duties pertaining to such office as indicated by the name of their respective employments, and such other duties as the superintendent of streets or Commissioner of Public Works shall , from time to time , authorize and determine. Section 16: PARK DEPARTMENT. ihere shall be in the office of the Park Department the following named officers , to wit : One (1) Superintendent; Two (2) Gardeners; Five (5) Laborers and One (1) Secretary. The Park Department shall be under the general charge and supervision of the superintendent. The other employees shall perform such duties as pertain to the nature of their office and as authorized and directed by the Park Superintendent. Section 17: BRIDGE DEPARTMENT. There shall be in the Bridge Department the following named assistants and employees, to wit : Three (3) Bridge Tenders. Said assistants and employees shall perform such duties as pertain to the nature of their office , and as authorized and directed by the Commissioner of Public `works. Section 18: WATER DE1ARTi' NT. There shall be the following named officers, assistants and employees in the Water Department of the City of ' verett, to wit : One (1) Superintendent , (part time) ; One (1) Assistant Superintendent; One (1) Headworks Operator; One (1) Distribution . Operator; One (1) operator Three Lakes Station; One (1) Operator Panther Creek Station; One (1) Plant chemist, (part time) ; Two (2) Draftsmen; One (1) Inspector; One (1) Assistant Inspector; One (1) Purchashing Agent; One (1) Hydrant Flusher; One (1)
