AN ORDINANCE confirming the result of a special elec- tion held June 20, 1936, providing for certain ad- ditions to the existing water works system of tie City of Everett, and authorizing the issuance of special revenue bonds in an amount not exceeding ';1,300,000 to pay therefor; Providing for the form and details of said bonds, and the issuance and sale thereof, and declaring an emergency. WHEREAS, in the special election held in the City of Everett, Washington, on June 20, 1936, pursuant to Ordinance 1uo. 2687 of said City passed and approved June 2, 1936, the qualified voters of said City ratified the making of certain additions to the existing water works system and the issuing of special revenue bonds in a sum not exceeding 1,300,000 to pay therefor; and, WHEREAS, said City is now desirous of constructing said additions and issuing and selling said bonds; NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ORDAIN: Section 1. That the adoption by the voters of said City of Everett at the special election held therein on June 20, 1936, of a plan for the construction of certain additions to the water supply system of said city, and the issuance of special revenue bonds in a sum not exceeding cl,300,000 payable from the revenues of said water system to pay for such additions, be and the same is hereby in all things ratified and confirmed, and the officials of said city are hereby authorized and directed to do all things necessary for the construction of such additions and the issuance of said bonds. Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk of said city be and they are hereby authorized and directed to issue said spec- ial water revenue bonds of the City of Everett in a sum not ex- ceeding 31,300,000 principal, bearing interest at a rate not -1-
