July 26, 2023 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., July 26, 2023, by <br />President Stonecipher. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Fosse, Rhyne, Schwab, Vogeli, Zarlingo, Tuohy, <br />and Stonecipher were present. Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />On behalf of the City Council, Council Member Vogeli acknowledged the original inhabitants of <br />this place, the sduhubš people, and their successors, the Tulalip Tribes. <br /> <br />The minutes of the July 17, 2023, Special City Council meeting were approved. <br /> <br />The minutes of the July 19, 2023, City Council meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR’S COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Council received one (1) written comment and the following members of the public spoke: <br /> <br />• Shawn Karmil – Zoning code issues for social services <br />• Dennis Wagner – crime and safety issues <br />• Olushola Bolonduro – Waits motel property acquisition <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Council comments and liaison reports were provided by council members. <br /> <br />Council Member Schwab requested an update regarding the proposed Project Labor Agreements <br />(PLA) ordinance committee. Jennifer Gregerson, Administration, stated she would follow up with <br />Council Members Schwab and Tuohy, who are on the PLA Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />
