July 26, 2023 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson stated staff were in contact with a few members <br />of the public who spoke last week. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall had no comments. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 7914 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$1,583,917.18 for the period ending July 8, 2023, through July 14, 2023. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – PURCHASE OF PALLET SHELTERS AND BATHROOM UNITS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 7915 waiving public bidding requirements, approving a multiple year <br />sole source purchase award, and authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Pallet SPC to <br />purchase eight shelters and two - 2-stall bathroom units in the amount of $263,836.94, <br />including Washington state sales tax. <br /> <br />PURCHASE – PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />To award and authorize purchase of playground equipment and installation with Landscape <br />Structures, Inc. from King County Directors’ Association #22-315/City of Everett #2022- 069 in <br />the amount of $677,156.43, including Washington state sales tax. <br /> <br /> REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - BIOXIDE SUPPLY AND SERVICE <br /> <br />To authorize release of Request for Proposal #2023-096 Bioxide Supply and Service in the form <br />substantially provided. <br /> <br />
