A • <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE No. 2693 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Section 2-A of Ordinance No. <br /> 1655 of the City of Everett, as amended by Ordinance No. 2118, <br /> and amending a ecti ons 13-A and 13-8 of Ordinance No. 1655, as <br /> amended by Ordinance No. 2260 of said City, and amending <br /> Ordinance No. 1655 by adding thereto a section to be known as <br /> Section 13-C, said Ordinance No. 1655 being entitled as follows: <br /> "An ordinance regulating the installation, erection, alter- <br /> htion, repair, use and operati on of electric wiring, connections <br /> fixtures, and other electrical appliances in buildings and other <br /> structures in the City of i':verett, providing a penalty for the <br /> violation thereof, repealing all ardina ices and parts of <br /> ordinances in conflict herewith, " <br /> adopting the "National Electrical Code" as the electrical code <br /> of the City of Lverett; providing a schedule of fees for permits ; <br /> issued under the provisions of Ordinance No. 1655, and declaring <br /> an emergency. <br /> TIE CITY OF EVERETT TOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 2-A of Ordinance No. 1655 <br /> of the City of Everett, as provided in Ordinance No. 2118, be, <br /> and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 2-A: Every person doing work under the pro- <br /> visions of this Ordinance shall, before permit is issued, pay <br /> to the City i'reasurer the following fees: <br /> (a) - Service Outlets <br /> A permit fee of one Dollar (01.00) shall be charged <br /> for each new service outlet. <br /> (b) - Lighting Circuit Outlets <br /> A permit fee for lighting circuit outlets, <br /> fixtures, switches, receptacles, and switch outlets conforming <br /> with the following schedule shall be charged for each permit : <br /> One outlet, receptacle, fixture or switch . 25 <br /> Two outlets, receptacles, fixtures or switches .50 <br /> Three outlets, receptacles, fixtures, or switches .75 <br /> Pour to ten outlets, receptacles, fixtures or <br /> switches 1.00 <br /> Each outlet, receptacle, fixture or switch in <br /> excess of ten .05 <br />
