Section 3: That Sestion 13-B of Ordinance No. 1655, as <br /> amended by Ordinance No. 2260, be, and the same is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> Section 13-B: That the following changes substitutions and <br /> additions to the "National Electrical Code" be, and the same are hereby <br /> adopted: <br /> 1. The following paragraphs shall be added to Article II of said <br /> code as follows: <br /> Paragraph 209: Armored cable and knob and tube Uri ring shall not <br /> be used within the fire limits of the City of Everett, or in public <br /> buildings, factories, warehouses, hotels, or apartment houses containing <br /> more than Two (2) apartments within or without the fire limits of the <br /> City of Everett. <br /> Paragraph 210: All conduit, conduit boxes and. conduit outlet boxes, <br /> except outlets used with knob and tube wiring, shall be galvanized or <br /> sheradized. <br /> Paragraph 211: Non-metallic sheathed cable, wooden raceways and <br /> cleat wiring shall not be used in the City of Everett. <br /> 2. That the following changes shall be made in Article IV of said <br /> code: <br /> That subdivision B of Paragraph 404 be amended to read as follows: <br /> b. Service entrance conductors shall be in rigid conduit or <br /> electrical metallic ;tubing. <br /> That there be added to subdivision f of Paragraph 1404 the following: <br /> "Except that service entrance conductors for all new lighting in- <br /> stallations and for all old lighting installations where additions <br /> make it necessary to increase service entrance conductor size to <br /> conform with the National Electric Code, shall not be smaller <br /> than Number 6 rubber covered wire for ungrounded conductors in old <br /> residential occupancies and not smaller than Number 4 rubber <br /> covered wire for ungrounded conductors in new residential occupan- <br /> cies,"under construction." <br /> That subdivision c of Paragraph 405 be amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> A service switch shall have a rating not less than that of the <br /> cutout base in series with it, except that all switches connected to one <br /> lighting service entrance shall not be smaller than 60 Ampere. <br /> 3. That Paragraph 2010 of Article XX be amended to read as follows: <br /> Paragraph 2010: Not more than Eight (8) outlets will be allowed <br /> on any one residential lighting circuit. Lighting circuit not to exceed <br /> 660 Watts, <br /> That subdivisions a and b of said Paragraph 2010 shall be eliminated, <br /> 4. That subdivision d of Paragraph 3807 of Article XXXIII be <br /> amended to read as follows: <br />
