r , <br /> ORDINANC.L, NO. 2664 <br /> An Ordinance providing for the improvement of 19th Street, from Rucker <br /> Avenue to - alnut Street, by clearing and grubbing; removal of old lumber; <br /> grading to proper grade ; removal of existing curbs, walks and pavement as <br /> necessary; installation of necessary drainage; construction of Portland Ce- <br /> ment Concrete alley crossings where necessary; replacement of concrete side- <br /> walks to fit new work; making the necessary changes at intersections; and <br /> doing all other work necessary for a complete improvement; installation of <br /> an Eight (8) inch water main, and its necessary appurtenances, between Broad- <br /> way and Walnut Street; construction of a one course Portland Cement Concrete <br /> Fhvement as follows: <br /> Rucker Avenue to Virginia Avenue by two eighteen (18) foot strips of <br /> six (6) inch Portland Cement Concrete Pavement, between intersections. <br /> Virginia Avenue to Walnut Street by two eighteen (18) foot strips of <br /> six (6) inch Portland Cement Concrete Pavement, between intersections, in- <br /> tersections to be paved full width. <br /> Broadway to Walnut Street by construction of Portland Cement Concrete <br /> Curbs, all in accordance with Resolution No. 4022 of the City of Everett, <br /> creating assessment district, creating a local improvement district fund <br /> therefor, providing that a cost of improvement not to exleed 55 plus Clerk <br /> and Treasurer's fees be paid by special assessment upon the property in <br /> said district , under the mode of payment by Bonds, and the balance thereof <br /> shall be paid from funds allocated to the City of Everett by the Federal <br /> Grant of the United States Government, and declaring an emergency. And, <br /> WF ''. S , by Resolution No. 4022 of the City of : verett, the City Coun- <br /> cil has declared its intention to order the improvement as above outlined <br /> and doing all other work in connection therewith to make a complete improve- <br /> ment in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the City <br /> engineer of said City; Now, Therefore <br /> THE CITY OF EVE ITT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1 .
