be , and they are hereby authorized and directed to issue special water revenue bonds of said city of Everett in a sum of not exceeding $175,000 of principal, bearing interest at a rate not exceeding 4% per annum, payable semi-annually, to be in denominations of 01,000 each, numbered from 1 to 175 inclu- sive, to be dated November 1, 1935, and maturing serially in order of their number as follows : 30 ,000 on November 1, 1937 30,000 on November 1, 1938 30 ,000 on November 1, 1939 30 ,000 on November 1, 1940 30 ,000 on November 1, 1941 25,000 on November 1, 1942 all of said bonds being payable only out of the gross revenues of said waterworks system as more particularly set forth in said Ordinance No. 2656. SECTION 3. That said bonds hereby authorized shall be in substantially the following form, except as to dates of payment : No. $1000.00 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA STATE OF WASHINGTON CITY OF EVERETT EVERETT 1935 SPECIAL WATER REVENUE BONDS. TOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That the City of Everett, a municipal corporation of the state of Washington, acknowledges itself to owe and for value received hereby promises to pay to bearer on November 1, 19 _ the principal sum of one thousand dol- lars (01,000) with interest thereon at the rate of % per annum, payable semi-annually on the first days of May and Novem- ber of each year as evidenced by and upon presentation and sur- render of the annexed interest coupons as they severally become due, both principal and interest being payable in lawful money of the United States at the office of the City Treasurer of the City of Everett only out of the gross revenues of the water supply system of said city of Everett as provided in Ordinance No. 2656 of said city, passed and approved September 10, 1935, and the City Treasurer of said city is hereby directed to pay the same as therein provided. n
