August 2, 2023 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., August 2, 2023, <br />by President Stonecipher. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Rhyne, Schwab, Fosse, Zarlingo, Vogeli, and <br />President Stonecipher were present. Mayor Franklin and Council Member Tuohy were excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Schwab led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne read the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the July 26, 2023, City Council meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Council received eight (8) written comments and the following members of the public spoke: <br />Jose Villalaz, Rosemary Clevenger, James Harrigan, Carla Smith, Shona (Olushola) Bolonduro, Bill <br />McKinlock, Willie Russell, Victor Harris. <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Comments and liaison reports were provided by council members. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson provided updates on the following items: The <br />Project Labor Agreements (PLA) Task Force; Everett Police followed up with a public commenter <br />from last week’s council meeting regarding public safety issues in their neighborhood; and the <br />video glitch from last week’s council recording, the error was quickly fixed, and the whole video <br />was uploaded shortly after. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
