t <br /> to their said offices as defined by the Ordinances of the city, and such other du- <br /> ties as the Commissioner of Public Works shall direct. Provided that nothing here- <br /> in contained shall be construed to prevent the offices of Building Inspector, City <br /> Electrician and Plumbing Inspector from being filled by one appointee . <br /> Section 7. That Section 11 of ')rdinance No. 2483 be amended to read as fol- <br /> lows, to-wit: Section 11. There shall be in the office of the employment depart- <br /> ment the following named officer, to-wit: employment officer (part time). It <br /> shall be the duty of such officer to maintain and do all work in connection with <br /> the maintenance and operation of the city employment bureau, and to maintain such <br /> bureau in such manner and to make such reports as the Commissioner of Public Works <br /> may authorise or direct. <br /> Section 8. That Section 14 of Ordinance No. 2483 be amended to read as fol- <br /> lows, to-wit: Section 14. There shall be in the office of the water department <br /> the following named officer', assistants and employees , to-wit: Superintendent <br /> (part time ) , Assistant Superintendent , General Foreman, Headworks Operator, Opera- <br /> tor Three Lakes Station, Operator Panther Creek Station, draughtsman, inspector, <br /> stock clerk, machinist, blacksmith, auto repairman, :_meter repairman, three ser- <br /> vicemen, foreman, welder, two pipefitters, carpenter, hydrant flusher, clerk and <br /> stenographer, clerk & bookkeeper, truck driver, tractor operator, patrolman, as- <br /> sistant inspector, janitor, blacksmith helper, pipefitter's helper, pickup driver, <br /> miner, air compressor operator, two laborers . The superintendent shall be in <br /> general charge and supervision of the water department; the other employees and <br /> assistants shall perform such duties as pertain to the nature of their office and <br /> as authorized and directed by the superintendent. <br /> Section 9. That beginning January 1, 1935, and from and after that date , the <br /> salaries or compensation to be paid the officers, assistants and employees of the <br /> city of 'Everett shall be as in this Ordinance provided, to-wit: <br /> Section 10. City Hall <br /> Janitor 4100.00 per month <br /> Assistant Janitor 90.00 " " <br /> Section 11.
