I can redline this(i.e.,write it in with red pen),or <br /> indicate where it is stated. <br /> The scope of work on our cover sheet does not indicate Level 3 Alteration.A basic redline is acceptable. <br /> 4.The Type I hood is not listed. I can redline this. Note that Type I hoods require a separate permit submittal from <br /> the base mechanical permit application. This is also separate from the fire suppression application for the <br /> hood. See additional comments below for other submittals. <br /> The cover sheet indicates the Kitchen Hood Fire Suppression System as a deferred submittal.This is typically <br /> coordinated by the GC with a local Fire Suppression Specialist.M1.0 schedules the Type I Kitchen Hood with all <br /> type I requirements including the Fire Suppression System.Further clarification and details regarding Type I <br /> installation are in the mechanical plans as well.A further redline further clarifying Type I is acceptable if <br /> necessary. <br /> 5. The project includes at least one infill of an exterior wall. See also Comment 10 and the response stating that all <br /> work is interior. A detail for the exterior wall construction should be provided. It is noted that the plan on Sheet <br /> A1.0 states"Infill ATM opening to match existing construction",and the intent may be for structural to provide a <br /> detail (no such detail is included in Sheet S0.00). Given that the exterior wall appears to be either masonry or <br /> concrete,a detail should be provided. If prepared on an 8.5x11 sheet, I can print this and tape into the drawing <br /> sets. Please advise. <br /> Revised drawing sheet S0.00 provided. <br /> 8. This comment was not completely addressed. Please note that it may be possible to address this in the site <br /> plan depending on the action proposed by the design team,which would allow me to complete the building <br /> review. The Level 3 alteration requires accessibility improvements per IEBC Section 305.7. These may be capped <br /> at 20%of the base project cost per Exception 1. It is noted that the new bathroom counts toward this <br /> requirement. However, it is not anticipated that the construction of the bathroom alone satisfies the 20% <br /> minimum and that additional improvements will be required. Note that documentation to verify the cost of <br /> improvements was not provided,and any accessible new work that is part of the proposed project does not count <br /> towards this limit unless it is mitigating an existing deficiency.
