i <br /> • <br /> Section 5: That Section 10 of Ordinance No. 2483 as amended by Section <br /> Two of Ordinance No. 2548 be amended to read as follows, to-wit: Section 10: <br /> There shall be in the inspection department the following named officers, to- <br /> wit: Building Inspector, City Electrician and Plumbing Inspector . It shall <br /> be the duty of such officers to perform the duties relating to their said of- <br /> fices as defined by the Ordinances of the city, and such other duties as the <br /> Commissioner of Public Works shall direct. Provided, that nothing herein con- <br /> tained shall be construed to prevent the offices of Building Inspector, City <br /> Electrician and Plumbing Inspector from being filled by one appointee. <br /> Section 6: That Section 11 of Ordinance Nc. 2483 be amended to read as <br /> follows, to-wit: Section 11: There shall be in the office of the employment <br /> department the following named officer, to-wit: Employment officer (part time). <br /> It shall be the duty of such officer to maintain and do all work in connection <br /> with the maintenance and operation of the city employment bureau, and to main- <br /> tain such bureau in such manner and to make such reports as the Commissioner <br /> of Public Works may authorize and direct . <br /> Section 7: That beginning May 1st, 1934, and from and after that date , <br /> the salaries or compensation to be paid the officers, deputies, assistants and <br /> employees of the city of Everett shall be as in'this Ordinance provided, to-wit : <br /> Section 8: City Hall <br /> Per Month <br /> Janitor 0.00.00 <br /> Assistant Janitor 90.00 <br /> Section. 9: City Attorney <br /> City Attorney 190.00 <br /> Stenographer to Attorney 75.00 <br /> Section 10: City Clerk's Office <br /> City Clerk 162.00 <br /> Deputy City Clerk 130.00 <br /> License Inspector 114.00 <br /> Stenographer and Clerk 80.00 <br /> Section 11: City Treasurer's Office <br /> City Treasurer 162.00 <br /> Deputy city treasurer 130.00 <br /> Asst. deputy city treasurer 100.00 <br /> 1,1 Clerk and stenographer 80.00 <br /> Water cashier 117.00 <br /> Assistant cashier 113.00 <br /> Clerk and bookkeeper 108.00 <br /> -3- <br />
