- <br /> Everett Reservoir .3 which will conduct and deliver .water to Everett reservoir and/ <br /> or tanks in Section 3 Twp. 27 N,R. 4 E.W.M., Snohomish County, Washington, with the <br /> necessary bridges, tunnels , valves, blowoffs and other structures and appurtenances <br /> necessary for the construction, control and operation of said pipe line ; and such <br /> improvements are needful to make the water available from Everett for distribution <br /> tb the Alderwood Water District system for domestic purposes ; providing all labor, <br /> materials and supplies necessary or incident to the construction of such project and <br /> also such other miscellaneous minor additions, betterments, extensions and improve- <br /> meats as may be necessary . <br /> Section. 2: That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby specify <br /> and adopt the system or plan described in this Ordinance for making the extensions, <br /> additions and betterments set forth in Section 1 herein. <br /> Section 3: That it is proposed that the City of Everett for the purpose of <br /> providing funds for the payment of the above mentioned extension, additions and bet- <br /> terments as set forth in this Ordinance shall set aside from. the gross revenues re- <br /> ceived from the sale of water to the Alderwood Water District, to be retained in a <br /> special fund , 25% of which shall be used for operating expenses, maintenance and up- <br /> keep, and the remainder thereof shall be applied towards the payment of the material <br /> used in the construction. of the extension for a period of 10 years, and, if after <br /> said period has expired, any portion thereof shall remain unpaid , then to be paid <br /> out of the revenues of the water department of the City of Everett as any other in- <br /> debtedness is paid ; that the total amount expended and to be expended in the making <br /> of the herein described extensions , additions, betterments and improvements shall <br /> be , as nearly as the cost thereof may be estimated , the sum of 4102,975 .00 . <br /> Section 4: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance <br /> shall take effect immediately upon its passage and publication. <br /> ay or <br /> ATTEST: >4...e -iu <br /> City clerk <br /> Passed: October 18 , 1933 . <br /> Published: October 1933 . <br /> -2- <br />
