Insert the chimney liner into <br /> the slip connector and secure using (4)sheet metal screws. Apply additional RTV silicone to the <br /> area around the connection to ensure an air-ti ht seal. <br /> �H - <br /> 4 If using outside air, attach to the vent connector using a hose clamp. <br /> 5 Attach the vent connector to the insert. Make sure the silicone gasket attached to the bottom of <br /> the vent connector is intact and remains in place. <br /> Restrictor Adjustment <br /> In certain installations with excessive draft, the restrictor will require adjustment to the closed position <br /> (heater goes out on low or vent heights above 30'). Contact your dealer for details if you believe your <br /> pellet insert is encountering excessive draft. Follow the directions below to adjust the restrictor to the <br /> closed position. <br /> To adjust the restrictor to <br /> closed position: <br /> a) Remove the burn platform. <br /> b) Loosen the two screws. <br /> c) Slide the restrictor down. <br /> d)Tighten the screws.
