KRAZAN&ASSOCIATES,INC.
Page No.2
Recommendation and Conclusion
We recommend compacting the prepared elevator pit footing subgrade soils into firm and unyielding
condition. While at the site,we observed the contractor compacting the footing subgrade soils using a jumping
jack. We re-evaluated the footing subgrade soils using a ''Y2-in diameter steel T-probe rod. The compacted
footing subgrade soils probed about 4-in under moderate pressure, indicating medium dense condition.
In our opinion, the compacted footing subgrade soils should adequately support the assumed allowable soil
bearing pressure of 2,000psf(pounds per square foot).
,,
X "-.. ..w
.,. 7 2,
y
t _ . .4'
,
Y
. -'
Site Pictures
This field report is for information purposes only.
Superinten• it/Representative: Technician: Niccolo Guiao
77----
Krazan&Associates,Inc.
Offices Serving The Western United States
3j5
