notes, etc. The drawings should substantiate compliance with the prescriptive requirements of <br />the IRC for all new work. See IRC Sections R102.7.1, R106.1.1, and R301.1. <br />7. A general fastener schedule should be provided per IRC Table R602.3(1). Providing a reference to <br />this table in the drawings does not satisfy this requirement. In addition, the make and model of <br />proprietary hardware should be specified where used for connections. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building <br />Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. <br />Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br />These initial comments are general in nature and based on preliminary information. Additional <br />comments will typically be generated once a complete submission is reviewed. All comments are based <br />on the 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), and/or the <br />2018 Washington State Residential Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and <br />adopted by the City of Everett. <br />These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other <br />departments (such as Utilities, Traffic, Planning or Fire).
