Please review and respond to the comments <br /> below. <br /> 1. The proposed project includes structural work. Structural drawings should be submitted that <br /> include framing plans for the floor, roof, and ceiling. The drawings should substantiate <br /> compliance with the prescriptive requirements of the IRC and drawings should show a complete <br /> load path. See IRC Sections R106.1.1 and R301.1. Alternatively,an engineered analysis and design <br /> may be performed per IRC Section R301.1.3; sealed and signed drawings and calculations <br /> prepared by a professional engineer licensed in the state of Washington are required per RCW <br /> 18.43.010, 18.43.020,and 18.43.070. See IRC Section R301.1. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building <br /> Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. <br /> Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br /> These initial comments are general in nature and based on preliminary information.Additional <br /> comments will typically be generated once a complete submission is reviewed. All comments are based <br /> on the 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2018 International Residential Code (IRC),and/or the <br /> 2018 Washington State Residential Energy Code (WSEC),as amended by the State of Washington and <br /> adopted by the City of Everett. <br /> These comments address building issues only.Additional revisions or additions may be required by other <br /> departments(such as Utilities,Traffic,Planning or Fire).
