Two foundation elements were added to the interior of the building; the remainder were
outside. While inside, I observed that the most of the Interior of the lower level had been stripped of drywall on
the walls and ceiling, The furred exterior wall cavities were open, exposing the foundation walls, Most, but not
all, of the lower level, was visible. The work under the afore noted permit would not require any remove of
finishes as observed. I have not yet verified if the lower level was previously permitted as finished, though I
anticipate that is what the record will show. There is no additional permit to perform the work observed, nor a
current code enforcement action,
2. 4835 Bayview Avenue: House is being reroofed without a permit; there is no current permit application. The
house appears to have a stack of demolished sheathing panels on the roof, so work appears to Include structural
modifications. Work has been ongoing for a couple of days, and underlayment was mostly placed as of this
morning around 8:30 AM. It is advised to observe this property today before structural work is completely
covered and demolished materials are removed from site.
Please let me know if you have questions.
Drew Martin, P.E., S.E.
Associate Engineer — Commercial Plans Examiner I Permit Services
425.257.8813 13200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett, WA 98201
EVERETT Hours; M/W/Th/F: 7:30am-12:00pm & 1:00pm-3:00pm; Tu: 1:00pm-3:00pm
everettwa.gov I Facebook i Twitter
