Attached is an email and 1990/91 development plans for the park (courtesy of Erik <br />Emerson). I hope this this information will be helpful. As Erik notes, it appears both are manmade -one as wetland <br />mitigation and one as detention. I'm researching what I can learn about the jogging trail. I'm hopeful that the exercise <br />stations will be viewed as in keeping with the trail function/intent land the other recreation facilities e.g. playground and <br />sport court), requiring minimal disturbance and not impact functionally to either pond. <br />Your recommendation of relocating station three makes sense. Since our hope is to have one of the stations in an <br />outlying location, we swapped Station 4(previously near the playground)with Station 3—plan attached. Station 4 has <br />the smallest footprint and based on our site visit, we believe there is sufficient area adjacent to the trail to <br />accommodate this footprint. Thanks for your thoughts in the regard. (apologies for the missing man. I'm having <br />challenges with the survey in my drawing that I'm working to remedy) <br />As far as milestones for the fitness stations: Council has approved the Funding Ordinance and we are waiting on the ILA <br />with SnoCo for final signatures —the County has committed $80,000 to the project. <br />Appreciate all of you help with this Park enhancement.
