MR #3: Source Control of Pollution <br />The intent of source control is to prevent stormwater from coming in contact with pollutants. Source control <br />BMPs can be operational or structural in nature. This section contains practices and procedures to reduce <br />the release of pollutants. <br />Provide a description of all known, available and reasonable source control BMPs that will be used on your <br />site to prevent stormwater from coming into contact with pollutants. Source control BMPs must be selected, <br />designed and maintained in accordance with the 2019 SWMMWW Volume IV. <br />® Task 1: Describe the applicability of BMPs selected for your project <br />❑ My project is a Single -Family Residence(SFR) and source control BMPs are not <br />applicable to my project. <br />9 My project is not a SFR and after reviewing Vol. IV of the Manual, I have determined <br />that Source Control BMPs are not applicable because of the following reason: <br />NO SOURCE POLLUTANTS ARE ANTICIPATED AS A RESULT OF THIS <br />PROJECT. THE CONTRACTORS MEANS AND METHODS MAY INCLUDE <br />OILS, FUELS, AND OTHER HAZARDOUS COMPOUNDS WHICH SHALL BE <br />MANAGED BY THE CONTRACTORS PROPOSED SOURCE CONTROL BMPS <br />OR THEIR SPILL PREVENTION PLAN. <br />® If you checked one of the boxes above, STOP and go to the next section, MR #4. <br />If you did not select a box above, complete Task 2 on the following page and select <br />the source control BMPS to be used on your project. <br />City of Everett Public Works <br />Small Project Stormwater Site Plan Report Dec 2019 <br />
